Leave a Nest group has made an investment in Tenchijin Inc.(Head Office: Chuo city, Tokyo; CEO: Yasuhito Sakuraba; hereinafter “Tenchijin”) through Leave a Nest Capital Co., Ltd.

Tenchijin is driven by the vision of ““Optimize human activity through the power of Space

Data.” By integrating satellite data and AI, the company provides a digital transformation (DX) solution for water infrastructure that supports sustainable utility operations. Its core service, KnoWaterleak, helps local governments modernize and manage water systems more efficiently. Since launching in 2023, the service has entered into contracts with a cumulative total of over 50 municipalities across Japan.

In February 2024,in collaboration with Leave a Nest, Tenchijin has joined the incubation facility Center of Garage Malaysia.In August 2024, it was selected for the AMEICC-commissioned program “Promoting Overseas Expansion through Collaboration between Japanese Startups and ASEAN Companies.” In the same month, Tenchijin also gave a presentation at the Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference 2024 in Osaka and Kansai, and in September, was selected as a finalist for the “Agritech Grand Prix 2024”, further strengthening its recognition both domestically and internationally. The company has also participated in the Leave a Nest Resilience Project through its KnoWaterleak. In February 2025, Tenchijin signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University of Science Malaysia (Universiti Sains Malaysia) to start practical work on evaluating infrastructure and identifying suitable locations for renewable energy projects.

Leave a Nest Group has decided to invest in Tenchijin to support the company’s vision of optimizing social infrastructure through the use of space data and its growing track record in both domestic and international markets.

With this funding, Tenchijin aims to advance the technological development of its core service, KnoWaterleak, and accelerate its expansion across Japan and abroad.
