Leave a Nest Group has made an additional Investment Phytolipid Technologies Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Yokohama city, Kanagawa Prefecture; CEO: Mr. Hiroyuki Ota; hereinafter “Phytolipid Technologies”) through Leave a Nest Capital Co., Ltd.

Phytolipid Technologies is a venture company originating from Tokyo University of Science (formerly Tokyo Institute of Technology). Guided by the vision of “leveraging natural lipids and lipid-derived compounds found in plants and algae through cutting-edge technology to contribute to CO₂ reduction and carbon recycling efforts on Earth,” the company has developed a unique technology for producing high-value lipids using Nannochloropsis, a microalga renowned for its exceptional lipid productivity.

Leave a Nest Group has decided to invest in Phytolipid Technologies to support the company’s vision of reducing global CO₂ emissions through innovative algae-based lipid technologies.
