Leave a Nest Capital Invests in VUILD Inc.

Leave a Nest Group has invested, through Leave a Nest Capital Co., Ltd., in  VUILD Inc. (Head Office: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan; CEO: Hiroki Akiyoshi; hereinafter “VUILD”), a company developing a new model of architectural production and distribution through digital fabrication technology.

VUILD is driven by the vision of realizing a society where “living” and “making” are interconnected. By integrating design, manufacturing, and construction through technology and design, the company empowers individuals to create their own ideal environments. Its services include EMARF, a platform that streamlines architectural workflows; and support for ShopBot, a digital wood-processing machine that allows anyone to engage in hands-on fabrication.

In 2024, VUILD joined a regenerative regional development project in Tokyo, and in 2025 began co-developing “Mokutei,” a demonstration project linking urban and forest environments, in collaboration with Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd., Japan Moss Factory Co., Ltd., and BIOTA Inc.

Leave a Nest Group made the decision to invest in recognition of VUILD’s commitment to democratizing manufacturing from the perspective of everyday people and advancing sustainable architecture and regional revitalization. With this funding, VUILD will further strengthen collaborations in the forestry and urban development sectors and accelerate the creation of a new knowledge-based manufacturing industry that connects people, places, and technologies.
